We are gearing up for our big trip due north for our annual Minnesota vacation with Trent’s whole family. I try to keep our normal summer schedule (breakfast, ymca, errands, lunch, pool, relax/dinner, bath, bedtime, and repeat) and fit in packing here and there the week before we leave. I deem the guest room as my staging area before things land in a suitcase. It’s a process I have down now. This year is the first year post kids I don’t have to worry about diapers, high chair, or pack and play. Love it.
Every horizontal surface is fair game.
This last box is a pipedream. I have 2 years worth of pictures I want to get into albums. Every year I bring this box on vacation as a project, unload the box in our cabin, then load it back on the van when the vacation is over untouched. It’s ridiculous, but I do it just in case. We’ll see!

Packing for Minnesota is NO JOKE! Thank God Jenny does it! She even puts post-it notes on everything so I know if we'll need it in the car or if we won't need it until we get there (my one job is to load the van).
