Sydney loves pasta and Lauren loves meatballs. I had a big bowl of the last tomatoes from the garden calling to be used. Spaghetti and meatballs! Both of the girls wanted to help "make" the meatballs. Lauren got the point a meatball should be round, but wasn't concerned about size uniformity. Sydney, however, treated it like playdoh and made anything from meatball pancakes to meatball sticks. I should have just thrown her creations in the sauce, it definitely would have Trent looking at his plate with curiousity...and skepticism.
