May 27th, 2010

I waste squander spend much time in the yard.  With the new vegetable garden and maintenance on the flower gardens, I piddle the afternoon away with Lauren while Sydney naps.  Many times when Sydney wakes up we head outside again.  But many times I can’t because I’m making dinner by then.  On this day, Trent offered to pick up San Sai.  I am currently having a serious love affair with their Ahi Tuna Sashimi Salad.  Trent likes San Sai because they have non sushi stuff, specifically chicken and crab rangoons (of which I always steal one).  So since I knew dinner was arriving with Trent, the girls and I played in the yard and discovered many fun things.

And a huge turtle escaped from Grant’s Farm and took a journey (a dangerous one crossing a busy 4 laned street) to our street.

The kids were fascinated.  That is Andrew who lives across the street.  He’s alot like the piano player on Glee, he always shows up.

Our other neighbor took the turtle back to Grant’s Farm and Trent arrived a moment later with dinner, now that’s timing!
