Sydney and Lauren look alike, but could not be more different. When Lauren is sad or fussy, she wants consoling, conversation, and cuddles. When Sydney is sad or fussy, she wants to be alone and not talked to. She’ll let you know she’s fragile and you gotta give her space. She’ll come around in her own time. This is her sad/fussy/fragile face.
Post eating a Dove chocolate. I then showed Sydney my camera display to show her what her fussy face looked like.
She and Lauren started cracking up. Big time.
She still loves that picture of herself. She’ll request to see her “sad face picture.”
I love Cooking Light’s Super Fast section. I'm loving simple recipes. It’s an official phase. Lauren loves goat cheese, bread, and cured italian meats, so I thought Cooking Light's Open-Faced Proscuitto sandwich would be a big hit.
Boy was I wrong. I didn’t put the arugula on Lauren’s, but she wasn’t a fan of the fig jelly drizzled on top. Trent and I loved it. Sydney took a bite and basically spit it out in horror. Kid friendly, not so much. But tasty, simple and quick, yes.

I, by the way, loved the new dish and hope to have it again!
